Schwa - Plating Glyphs with Michael Carlson - I was fortunate enough to have been asked join a team of creatives tasked with updating the online presence and branding of Michael Carlson's Schwa. The group assembled by Biz3 included photography and video from HYSTK (including original music from Polite and El-P), web development from Sam Allen, and Frank Brenner and I on creative direction and design.
The experience of dining at Schwa is at once elemental and kaleidoscopic: a vast well of inspiration to draw from. My favorite work to come out of those sessions is the "schwa" glyphs cut from plexiglass and plated by the man, himself.
